The verdict The Begin Drumming drum lessons is suitable for beginner drummers. The course is only offered in downloadable format, but it’s compatible on both Mac and PC. You’ll learn all aspects of drumming from holding the sticks and the basic stroke types, through to playing all the important drum rudiments, and all the drum beats for todays Rock styles. The drum lessons being downloadable so you can either watch them on your computer, or transfer them to your portable media player, and even be on your kit! Each lesson comes with text and graphics (yes GRAPHICS)which can be viewed on the screen, or printed out. We like how all the beats and solos, can be played at various speeds to help you learn. The material is well structured, easy to navigate and provides plenty of information to get you started playing the guitar. The course developers claim they have developed a learning method which will help you learn to play extra quickly, but as with all of these methods, your success depends on how you like to learn and whether you are willing to put in the practise time.
